This standard specifies the method for determining the resistance of the upper-floor joint of shoes, before and after subjecting the shoe to an aging process. This method is applicable to shoes whose upper-floor joining process has been carried out by gluing, vulcanization, injection or similar process, as long as the upper has a continuous assembly margin (closed shoes). Does not apply to shoes with straps or narrow straps (sandals, etc.).
