1.1 This standard establishes a method to determine the tensile fatigue characteristics of the elements that constitute the active prestressed concrete reinforcements, that is: wires, twists, cords or bars, and which will be generically designated in this standard as a product. 1.2 The method is also applicable to verify that a specimen exceeds a predetermined duration for a previously established stress cycle.
