The purpose of this standard is to prescribe the normal values, characteristics and choice, in the une standard 20-543/1, the quality assurance procedures and the appropriate test and measurement methods and to establish the general conditions for this type of capacitors. The test severities and conditions prescribed in the particular specifications must be of a level equal to or higher than that of this intermediate specification, with no lower level permitted.
