The purpose of this standard is to specify a method for determining the twist of the threads of a fabric. The method is only applicable to yarns obtained according to conventional systems and is not applicable to OE yarns (open-end spinning) or interlaced yarns, for example. This method can also be applicable to the threads of a knitted fabric.
