This standard describes a method for determining the flash point of paints, varnishes and related products under the test conditions specified in the operating procedure. This method is applicable for temperatures between 5 and 65°C, although some of the devices specified in the Annex do not completely cover this temperature range using the thermometer supplied with the device. The operating procedure allows the test to be carried out under atmospheric pressure conditions other than normal pressure.
