The purpose of this standard is to indicate the procedures for the manufacture and conservation of concrete specimens reinforced with steel fibers and/or polypropylene, by gravity pouring of the same into molds and compaction, intended for compression rupture tests (UNE 83-507), determination of compression toughness (UNE 83-508), flexural breakage (UNE 83-509), determination of resistance to first crack, toughness and flexural toughness index (UNE 83-510) and shear resistance (UNE 83-511). Excluded from this standard are witness specimens obtained by cutting and specimens corresponding to concrete reinforced with steel and/or polypropylene fibers placed on site using the spraying system.
