This standard establishes a scheme intended to appear on the outside of transport packaging containing photographic and radiographic films, plates and papers, whether exposed or not, but not developed. Its purpose is to warn handling personnel that the packaging on which the diagram appears is sensitive to heat and radioactivity and that they must be kept safe from these accidents.
