1.1 This standard specifies the characteristics of the basic materials and test methods of the continuous galvanized steel sheet used in the manufacture of embedded and stamped plates, used in the vertical marking of all types of roads. The way in which these plates are manufactured is also specified in this standard. For the purposes of this standard, a plate is understood to be a metallic element formed by a single piece. 1.2 The different support and anchoring elements necessary for fixing and placing the plates are not covered in this standard.
