The purpose of this standard is to establish the conditions that must be met by prestressing systems that are going to be used in prestressed concrete works with post-tensioned reinforcement. It includes definitions, components, tests and the requirements that the supplier of the prestressing system must satisfy. Braces, suspension cables and hangers are excluded from this standard.
