The purpose of this standard is to specify a method of preparing test sheets from pastes, using a Rapid-Kóthen sheet former, in order to subsequently carry out physical tests leading to determining the relevant characteristics of these pastes. The UNE 57-042/1 standard describes the method of preparing test sheets with a conventional sheet former.
