The purpose of this standard is to establish the procedure for carrying out performance tests linked to boiler acceptance tests. These tests will serve to determine: a) Performance b) Thermal power. NOTE — The determination of the operating parameters mentioned above can serve other purposes, such as: 1 Comparison of actual operation with that of guarantee. 2 Comparison of real operating parameters with those of an operating standard. 3 Comparison of different conditions or exploitation methods. 4 Determination of the operation of different parts of the boiler. 5 Comparison of the performances obtained with different fuels. 6 Determination of the effect produced by modifications or changes in equipment.
