The purpose of this standard is to unify the criteria and parameters involved in carrying out geophysical prospecting work using the gravimetric method. With this, it is possible, on the one hand, to ensure the correct obtaining of the maps or gravimetric profiles, enabling the insertion of the data derived from them in cartographic documents of general use, and on the other hand, to facilitate the specification of the work to be carried out in the contracting and planning phase as well as in the evaluation of the different offers.
