This European Standard specifies the general criteria for declarations of conformity from suppliers in cases where it is desirable, and even necessary, to indicate the conformity of products with standards or other normative documents, regardless of the sector involved. In these cases, the supplier may declare under its sole responsibility the conformity of its products with the standard or with other applicable regulatory documents.
