The purpose of this European Standard is to establish a method for determining the preventive effectiveness of a water-soluble or organic solvent protector, applied by any procedure, excluding brushing, in order to protect processed wood against bluing. This method is applicable to protectors applied by immersion, more or less prolonged immersion, double vacuum or vacuum and pressure.
