The purpose of this standard is to establish the modalities and characteristics of the control circuits for electrical machines inside mines, powered from pit chests (see standard UNE 22-520). Exceptions are the control circuits of portable drilling machines with a nominal voltage less than or equal to 220 V alternating current.
