This standard specifies three methods for determining the clouding temperature of nonionic surfactants obtained by condensation of ethylene oxide on a lipophilic compound that does not have propylene oxide groups. The choice of method depends on the temperature at which the aqueous solution of the surfactant under study becomes cloudy.
