This standard specifies a method for designating non-plasticized compounds of vinyl chloride homopolymers and copolymers, based primarily on their physical form, their end use and their VICAT softening temperature. These indications can be completed by the figures corresponding to the different classes of materials given in the table, for three other additional properties. The UNE 53-140/2 standard indicates the corresponding test methods to determine such properties.
