The purpose of this standard is to establish the classification, designation and constitution of membranes made with bituminous and modified bituminous materials, used for the waterproofing of building roofs, as well as the suitability of each of them depending on the use and inclination of the cover, the type of protection of the membrane and its relationship with the base support and other elements.
