The purpose of this standard is to describe a method for measuring the initial shrinkage experienced by the molded material after molding and being cooled to the normal temperature of 20° C. This must be taken into account for the correct design of the molds. when any of the measurements of the pieces must be adjusted as much as possible to an exact measurement.
