This standard specifies tolerances for major dimensions (except for chamfer dimensions) and running accuracy of bearings, metric series. The limits for the dimensions of the chamfers are given in the UNE 18-132 standard. This standard does not apply to certain radial bearings of particular design (for example, cups or needle roller bearings) or in certain particular fields of application (for example, bearings for aircraft fuselages and precision bearings for instruments). The tolerances for such bearings are given in the respective UNE standards.
