This standard specifies a test method for determining the electrical resistance of anti-electrostatic conductive articles made wholly or partially of rubber in which the electrical resistance, measured between defined points, does not exceed 1 x 108 Q. It does not apply to articles where the useful surfaces involved are formed by mixtures of insulating zones and conductive zones, nor to articles that have a significant surface of insulating material. The tests are carried out on the articles, using a defined system of electrodes.
