1.1 This standard prescribes materials, components and construction,
requirements, marking, sampling and criteria for conformity, testing,
reporting, preparation for distribution and maintenance and use of
electric-arc welded liquefied petroleum gas cylinder for internal
3 combustion engines of which the capacity shall not exceed 500 dm
and the service pressure being 2.55 MPa.
1.2 This standard does not cover valves, safety devices and other devices used in filling and applying gas.
