1.1 This standard specifies methods for sampling paints, varnishes and related materials.
1.2 The industrial product mentioned in this standard covers the mixture of pigment and liquid for use in painting or spraying on objects,raw materials for paints and varnishes. It does not cover dyes used in the industry, in the laboratory, pigment used in the ceramic factory or a drawing colour.
