1. This specification is based on B.S. 401 : 1931, as amended June, 1932, June, 1937, May, 1938 and March, 1942. It covers the require-ments of cylinders for the storage and transport of the " liquefiable " gases given in Table I in accordance with the filling ratios and assumed working (gauge) pressures set out in that table.
