1. The requirements of this standard will apply to liquids with non-tonal behavior, particularly hydrocarbons, mineral oils and similar liquids, with a dynamic viscosity greater than 0.6 cP. They should not be applied to liquids whose properties and composition may vary during the test. 2. Due to poor precision, the results of tests, carried out in accordance with the requirements of this standard, should not be used in the calculation of the index of viscosity (INDITECNOR 22-8).
