Once supercooled fogs are recognized by a sponsoring
entity as causing a problem and a decision is
made to sponsor a fog dispersal effort, the next step is
to determine the scope of a project to disperse the fog
and produce a suitable project design. A suitable project
design document includes the project scope; delivery
methods; seeding agent selection; targeting and
delivery considerations; experience and training; seeding
suspension criteria; and legal, environmental, and
social considerations. The following is an example of a suitable fog dispersal project design.
