Scope

This part of TB/T 2884 specifies the form and size, technical requirements, marking and packaging of measuring tools used for maintenance of railway freight carriage saddles. Technical requirements for measuring devices are also specified. This section applies to load-bearing saddles for 2D-axis control type, K2-type, K4-type, K5-type and K6-type bogies (hereinafter referred to as control type, K2, K4, K5 and K6 load-bearing saddles) and D-type load-bearing saddles Design, manufacture and use of measuring instruments for saddle maintenance.
