Scope

This standard specifies the specific surface area (hereinafter referred to as nitrogen adsorption specific surface area) determined by the nitrogen adsorption method among the basic characteristics of carbon black for rubber (hereinafter referred to as carbon black) used as a compounding agent for raw materials in the rubber industry. Of the calculation methods, the single point method is specified.
