Scope

This standard specifies leakage test methods for sealed radioactive sources to be carried out during test control, production control, and periodic inspections for determining the classification of prototype sources according to JIS Z 4821-1. As a leak test method, procedures for radioactive and non-radioactive tests are shown, but special tests not specified in this standard may be required.
