Provides specifications for ball grid array (BGA) burn-in sockets of assessed quality having a maximum enclosure (maximum length, width and height dimensions) and a working voltage not exceeding volts and a current not exceeding ampere per pin. This is the third public review for this standard. It was originally listed in the November 22, 1996 and the December 5, 1997 issues of Standards Action and is being resubmitted due to substantive changes to the text.
