Scope

This standard specifies test procedures for defrosting methods for frozen/refrigerated show cases (hereinafter referred to as "show cases") for the purpose of selling or displaying food products under the test conditions specified in temperature tests (see JIS B 8611-3). Specifies the case where the test is conducted under the same conditions. This test cannot be applied to showcases or their parts that require manual defrosting.
