1. Scope of application This standard pertains to polyester (imide) paint-baked glass-wrapped rectangular copper wire with a temperature index of 155 and enamelled glass-wrapped rectangular copper wire of Grade 2. Note: The thermal shock resistance test is not applicable to this type of wire, so no thermal shock resistance temperature has been set. As a result, classes cannot be determined based on heat resistance index and thermal shock resistance temperature. Enamelled wire shall be subject to agreement between the parties concerned with the purchase and delivery in accordance with one of the following standards.
