Scope

This standard applies to types DSF-C, DSF-CNP, SSF, GSF, DSF, and oil control rings with coil expanders for piston rings (hereinafter referred to as rings) with a nominal diameter of 200 mm or less used in reciprocating internal combustion engines. The basic dimensions and characteristics of DSF-NG and SSF-L are specified. This standard may also be applied to compressor rings that operate under similar conditions.
