Scope

This British Standard gives details of salt mist tests for two grades of severity, which may be applied to equipment in aircraft to determine their resistance to the corrosive effects of salt-laden atmospheres that exist at sea. in coastal areas and in certain desert areas. It should also be read in conjunction with British Standard 3G. 100: Part 0.
