Scope

This document establishes the procedure for cross-root grafting of Korean pine (Pinus koraiensis) and stipulates the technical requirements for site selection, rootstock selection, seed bud, grafting, tending management, pest control, etc. This document is applicable to grafting Korean pine with Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica) and Chinese pine (Pinus tabuliformis) as rootstocks, and is used to build Korean pine nut forests, timber forests, bud nurseries, etc.
