Scope

This standard applies to uncontrolled anti-ramming devices to the extent that they do not contradict current regulatory and technical documents, designed to protect the life and health of people, protect protected objects by creating a physical obstacle to the unauthorized movement of a single vehicle into a protected area and forcing it to stop. The standard establishes general technical requirements for unguided anti-ram devices and their testing methods. The standard does not apply to anti-ram devices intended to create a physical obstacle to the unauthorized movement of special vehicles and military equipment, as well as to technical means of organizing traffic (road barriers, devices) used in accordance with GOST R 52289, as well as to safety equipment passengers and vehicle drivers. The standard can be applied for certification purposes - confirmation of compliance with the technical characteristics of specific models of unguided anti-ram devices declared by the developer (manufacturer, supplier) - in systems of voluntary or mandatory certification of engineering and technical safety equipment, as well as during state, acceptance or equivalent tests for the benefit of various organizations in accordance with GOST ISO/IEC 17067, GOST ISO/IEC 17025, GOST R 53603, GOST R 58984 and other regulatory documents. The rules established in this standard may be specified in organizational standards and/or other regulatory and technical documents. The provisions of this standard are subject to application by organizations and other business entities located on the territory of the Russian Federation, regardless of their form of ownership and subordination, as well as by the Federal executive authorities of the Russian Federation involved in the development and production of products in accordance with current legislation
