Introduction

Standard Development Background and Technical Evolution

As the first industry technical specification in my country specifically for biomass cogeneration projects, this standard fills the gap in the field of comprehensive utilization of renewable energy. Compared with the 2009 version of the "Technical Specification for Biomass Power Generation", 12 new heat and power synergy indicators are added, and the system energy efficiency requirements are increased by 15%.

Comparison of core technical requirements

Technical Dimensions NB/T 11177-2023 GB/T 28056-2011 EU EN 303-5
Comprehensive Energy Efficiency ≥75% ≥65% ≥80%
Emission Limits (mg/Nm³) NOx≤150 NOx≤200 NOx≤100
Fuel adaptability 8 types of agricultural and forestry waste 5 types 6 types

Key system design specifications

Taking a 20MW project as an example, the standard requires:

  • The fuel pretreatment system needs to be equipped with a two-stage crushing + magnetic separation device
  • The boiler thermal efficiency design value is not less than 88%
  • Thermoelectric ratio adjustment range is 0.8-1.5

Typical case: A straw power plant adopts Circulating fluidized bed boiler + extraction steam turbine configuration, annual heat supply reaches 450,000 GJ, and energy utilization rate is increased to 78.3%.

Implementation suggestions and innovation directions

1. It is recommended to establish a fuel database to achieve accurate calorific value calculation
2. It is recommended to use intelligent dispatching system to optimize thermal power load distribution
3. Focus on the technical path of comprehensive utilization of ash
