Scope of application This standard sets out the minimum dimensions of passage openings on forestry machines for: 1) passage of the hand, 2) passage of the head, 3) passage of the body, 4) passage of the arm , 5) the passage of both hands, arms outstretched. It provides engineers and designers with digital data allowing them to plan passage openings for inspections, assembly work and repairs, of sufficient dimensions for these operations to be carried out by service personnel in the field or in workshop.
