This document specifies the terms and definitions, basic regulations, insulation system, heat supplement system, automation, operation and maintenance of continuous casting billet insulation and heating. This document is applicable to the design, operation and management of thermal insulation and heating of continuous casting slabs. Other continuous castings that directly enter the rolling mill for rolling or are sent to the heating furnace/heat treatment furnace for reheat treatment can be implemented as follows.
