Remote sensing data of the Earth from space. Certification of products based on remote sensing data of the Earth from space. Basic requirements for the certification procedure

Scope: This standard applies to products created on the basis of remote sensing data of the Earth from space, obtained from spacecraft in the form of images. This standard establishes the basic requirements for the certification procedure for Earth remote sensing products from space. The objects of certification are products of remote sensing of the Earth from space at certain levels of processing in accordance with GOST R 59079: 　——primary products of remote sensing of the Earth from space; 　——standard products for remote sensing of the Earth from space; 　——derived (basic) products of remote sensing of the Earth from space; 　——thematic products of remote sensing of the Earth from space. This standard is intended for use by product certification bodies and testing laboratories accredited in the field of assessing the conformity of Earth remote sensing data from space in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of accreditation [1], organizations that are manufacturers and suppliers of Earth remote sensing products from space, issued for circulation on the territory of the Russian Federation by applicants for certification. This standard does not apply to products created on the basis of Earth remote sensing data from space obtained from space complexes (space systems) for hydrometeorological, oceanographic and heliogeophysical purposes.
