This standard provides for the expansion of the set of GOST R 54994 specifications related to the transmission of DVB services in MPEG-2 transport streams over bidirectional IP networks by adding support for:
——dynamic service management, ensuring efficient use of network bandwidth;
——IPv6 technologies. The standard contains detailed definitions of processes and parameters:
——announcement of the content download service;
——formats of content elements and files of the content download service;
——description of the CDS download session;
——downloading CDS content elements;
——management of the HNED storage device. The requirements of this standard should be taken into account when developing, manufacturing and operating DVB devices, as well as when developing, designing and operating software for DVB networks
