GB/T 36558-2023 "General Technical Conditions for Electrochemical Energy Storage Systems in Power Systems" is revised on the basis of the original standard GB/T 36558-2018, mainly optimizing the technical requirements and scope of application. The new standard adds detailed provisions on storage environment conditions, and supplements technical details on operational adaptability, energy conversion efficiency, etc.
| Standard version | Scope of application | New content | Revised content |
|---|---|---|---|
| GB/T 36558-2018 | Lithium-ion batteries, flow batteries and other energy storage systems | - | - Delete some term definitions, adjust power control requirements |
| GB/T 36558-2023 | Expanded to sodium-ion batteries, water electrolysis hydrogen production and other technical routes | Added storage environment conditions requirements | Supplemented operational adaptability and system frequency regulation capability regulations |
The operating environment temperature range of the electrochemical energy storage system is -20°C to 50°C, and the storage environment is required to be between -30°C to 50°C. For marine climate applications, corrosion resistance needs to be specially considered.
Choose the appropriate energy storage technology route according to the actual application scenario. For example, < b class="instrument">lithium-ion batteries can be used preferentially on the user side, and < b class="instrument">flow batteries are recommended for grid-side projects.
