- This standard is intended for use by organizations involved in the development and operation of space-based Earth remote sensing systems and the creation of Earth remote sensing products from space. This standard establishes requirements for space photography in the radar range when conducting sub-satellite observations to assess the coordinate-measuring, spatial-frequency and radiometric characteristics of Earth remote sensing data from space in order to establish compliance of the characteristics of a space system for remote sensing of the Earth from space with the requirements
