Part3:SpecialcasesThisstandardspecifiesthereferencemethodforthedeterminationofthefatcontentofmilk-basedandofliquid,concentratedordriedmilkproductstowhichtheR?se-Gottlliebmethodisnotapplicable;i.e.thosecontainingdistinctquantitiesoffreefattyacidsorthosewhicharenotcompletelysolubleinammoniaowingtothepresenceoflumpsornon-milkingredients,suchascustards,porridgesorcertainmilk-basedproductsforbakerypurposes.Themethodisalsoapplicabletofreshcheesetypes,suchascottagecheeseandquarg,aswellastofreshcheeseswithaddedfruit,syrup,muesli,etc.forwhichtheSchmid-Bondzynski-Ratzlaffmethodisnotsuitableowingtothehighercarbohydratecontentsand/orextremeinhomogeneity.
