Scope

This document provides a quality assessment framework for ICT (Information and Communication Technology) products (including software products), data and IT services, including its concepts, requirements and recommendations for implementation and enhancement processes. This document is applicable to parties who need to conduct quality assessments on target entities, including development organizations (integrators, developers and quality assurance groups), purchasers, IT service providers and independent assessors. This document does not provide specific test methods for quality assessment or guidance on the use of assessment results.
