Scope
This Standard Practice delineates a method for qualification of elastomer diaphragms@ in accordance with methodology and documentation as described in Appendix QR-B of ASME QME-1@ that are intended for use in ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code@ Section III@ Classes 2 and 3 diaphragm valves. In addition@ this Standard Practice establishes methods for production verification and for the development of service limits for Elastomer diaphragms.
