Scope
This Standard Practice covers the construction requirements for carbon steel and stainless steel knife gate valves that meet the applicable requirements of ASME B16.34. This Standard Practice covers flanged body designs compatible with ASME B16.5 flanges for sizes NPS 2 (DN 50) through NPS 24 (DN 600) and ASME B16.47 Series A flanges for sizes NPS 26 (DN 650) through NPS 36 (DN 900).
