- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage of anthraquinone. This standard is applicable to anthraquinone obtained by air oxidation of refined anthracene in the presence of a catalyst or by condensation and ring closure of phthalic anhydride and benzene. Anthraquinone is mainly used in the dye industry.
