- This part of MT 818 specifies the product classification and nomenclature, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for shearer shielding and monitoring reinforced flexible cables (hereinafter referred to as cables) with rated voltages of 0.66/1.14kV and 1.9/3.3kV. This section applies to copper core rubber sheath shielded and monitored reinforced flexible cables for coal shearers and similar equipment with rated voltages of 0.66/1.14kV and 1.9/3.3kV.
