Scope
The "Technical Standards for Uranium Mining and Metallurgy Engineering in the Nuclear Industry" is now approved as a national standard, numbered GB50521-2023, and will be implemented from May 1, 2024. Among them, Articles 6.4.2 and 6.4.7 are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implemented. The original national standard "Design Code for Uranium Mining and Metallurgy Engineering in the Nuclear Industry" (GB50521-2009) was abolished at the same time. This standard is made public on the website of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (www.mohurd.gov.cn), and is published and distributed by the China Planning Publishing House Co., Ltd. organized by the Standards and Quota Research Institute of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
